Mario Obeidat Joins Pendrell as Vice President of Patent Licensing

Kirkland, Wa. (Business Wire) April 9, 2012 - Pendrell Corporation (NASDAQ: PCO) ("Pendrell" or "the Company") announced today that Mario Obeidat has been appointed vice president of licensing for Pendrell Technologies. Mr. Obeidat was most recently the head of telecommunications licensing at Intellectual Ventures, and prior to that, he served as chief licensing strategist for InterDigital.

Mr. Obeidat holds a bachelors degree from Temple University and a master's degree in electrical engineering and telecommunications from Villanova University.  He will be based in the Company's Kirkland, Washington office.
